Located approximately 3 kilometers from the sea, near Varengeville, nestled in lush greenery on the heights of a charming village on the highly sought-after Alabaster Coast, this unique and exclusive retreat does not reveal itself at first glance.<\/p>\n
Access to the 1500 m\u00b2 property is via a picturesque and intriguing little road winding through the trees.<\/p>\n
A private path then gently ascends to a simple outbuilding that could be used as a garage, storage shed, or even a bungalow after some necessary renovations.<\/p>\n
Only from this vantage point do the subtle, clean lines of the cabin and its adjoining terrace begin to emerge.<\/p>\n
Designed by the talented architecture firm ARBA, this small 20 m\u00b2 dwelling, with its Japanese-inspired aesthetic, perfectly fulfills the need for immersion in a stimulating and inspiring natural environment.<\/p>\n
Its black wood cladding, a clear nod to the traditional Japanese Yakisugi (fire-roofed garden) made of charred wood, contrasts harmoniously with the natural light of the wood chosen for the interior.<\/p>\n
