It is in a small village in the Pays-de-Bray, not far from Forges-les-Eaux and Gournay-en-Bray, that this house is built in wooden structure, with bold curves, atypical at will.<\/p>\n
What characterizes it in the first place: the striking view of its hilly environment in which it integrates harmoniously.
\nThis is the work of the architect, Raoul Lemercier, who knew how to combine a contemporary, atypical and ecological spirit.<\/p>\n
Built in 2013, the house sits on a double plot of 3000 m\u00b2, adorned with wooden cladding in Red Cedar, it also has elegant metallic cladding on the north side.
\nThe openings have been designed wide and rounded so that the environment and the interior are one, promoting optimal calm and foreshadowing a revitalizing place of life.<\/p>\n
From the reception hall, a Zen and Japanese atmosphere is perceptible and it is with a certain impatience and curiosity that this original architecture with surprising articulation is apprehended.<\/p>\n
Entirely on one level, it consists of two arches offering a day side and a night side. On the one hand, a comfortable living room of almost 50 m\u00b2 with its open kitchen, benefits from a wood-burning stove, large aluminum and wood picture windows giving access to an outdoor area converted into a “Japanese Garden”.
\nOn the other hand, two beautiful bedrooms stand side by side with a hyphen in the shower room.<\/p>\n
The “night curve” also distributes a large master suite with its private terrace, its dressing room and its bathroom with the particularity of the singular pleasure of taking a bath with a view of the fields.<\/p>\n
Transport and amenities: 30 minutes from Rouen, 20 minutes from a SNCF train station, 15\/20 minutes from Forges-les-Eaux and Gournay-en-Bray (shops, swimming pool, cinema, racecourse), the A28 motorway at 15 km , Beauvais Airport at 46 km. Nursery and primary schools in the village, colleges and high schools a few kilometers away, large commercial areas 5 km away.<\/p>\n
