Located in the valley of Thann, this house of 143 m\u00b2 wood frame enjoys a privileged situation and living environment. Taking place on a vast plot of land of 49 acres sheltered from view and entirely made of natural materials such as larch wood, lime or straw, this atypical construction is one with its environment.<\/p>\n
Imagined in 2005 by the architect Mathieu Winter, the objective of this type of habitat is to create a total harmony between nature and the place of life. In this type of unique project, it is the whole construction that is thought of in an eco-responsible approach. The orientation, the natural lights, the regulation of the interior temperature or the ventilation of the frame are studied to minimize their impact on the environment. The structure of the house is divided into two parts connected by a bridge, imagined as a bridge between two living spaces. Access to the first part is through a few steps that lead to a bright living room of 30 m\u00b2 with a wood stove and underfloor heating.<\/p>\n
The kitchen is personalized by a tiled mosaic and overlooks a magnificent terrace on stilts facing the Grand Ballon d’Alsace. Upstairs, we discover a room fully open and full of light where communicate the bathroom and the master suite. Meeting point between the two structures of the house, the bridge is arranged as a second living room and is extended by a corner office that leads to the second part of the house. True zone of independent life reserved for the children, this floor is composed of two rooms and a room of water. On the ground floor, an independent studio, built in 2014, offers an additional surface to the house. At the same level is a cellar part with technical room.<\/p>\n
