This former hunter’s house has successfully combined its traditional spirit with a contemporary renovation thanks to a timber-framed extension that gives it a unique Usonian and organic character. Nestled in the middle of nature, the various viewpoints of this refuge offer striking panoramas of the surrounding hills and recall the paintings of Impressionist painters. The main level opens onto a living room with a fireplace and solid oak parquet flooring. The custom-built open kitchen opens onto a first large terrace that provides a first connection with the outdoors. The double height reinforces the overall volume and a clever play of symmetries between openings and structure ensures the balance of the space.
