The premium coastal segment remains strong: the supply of quality remains rare, demand constant. While the DACH markets (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) dominate, the French clientele maintains a loyal but discreet presence, around 1% of foreign purchases.
The adoption of the euro and entry into the Schengen area have facilitated cross-border property ownership and mobility for European buyers. Properties located in sought-after locations, with high heritage value and high energy performance, retain their value better over time.
