And because travel options are sometimes restricted and travel times are longer, life in the country also gives us time to rethink how we travel and our perception of time.

So why buy a house in the country ?

In the age of digital detox, what might once have seemed a luxury is now becoming a godsend. Governed only by budget and preferences, the options are endless: a country house to renovate at weekends, a second home for time with friends or family, or a luxury home in the country to be enjoyed as a year-round holiday retreat.
