Description
Imagined by Menguy architects this beautiful house of passive and ecological 212m2 was built by companions carpenters and completed in 2017.
Everything has been carefully thought out so that it fits harmoniously into the landscape. Bernard Menguy breaks with the concept of the housing machine initiated by Le Corbusier by rethinking the relationship between architecture and environment and by proposing a co-responsible interior environment.
The ground floor consists of an entrance hall that can serve as office, a living room of about 70m2 with kitchen open to the dining area and a cozy library under alcove. The whole opens largely on the South terrace.
At the heart of this level is a Tulikivi stone stove made of lava stone that after 2 hours of heating gives a warmth for 24 hours.
Audioquest cabling and speakers are integrated into the cedar wall structure.
The parental area can be widely opened on the living room thanks to a pocket door. The bedroom with its private terrace communicates with the pond and the large dressing room.
A very low consumption infrared sauna reproducing the solar radiation completes this space.
The floor offers two beautiful bedrooms and an office, this level hosts a large covered terrace
Each room has its own bathroom.
Praise of sweetness and well-being this beautiful house heated by the sun stays cool in summer.
All berries are burglar-proof.
