This character flat is located in a village between Metz and Boulay-Moselle, in the heart of a medieval castle. Built in 1401, destroyed several times during the 15th and 16th centuries, this castle was remodelled in the 18th century and under the Second Empire. Despite these transformations, it still has the appearance of a majestic fortified house that it had in the 16th century. Its facades and roofs, the floor of the courtyard and the terraces, the room of the north tower with its floor are listed as Historic Monuments.

As soon as we enter the building, we are transported into another era: monumental door, time-worn paving stones, keep with its windows decorated with Jaumont stone.

The flat, located on the garden level, opens onto a pleasant terrace in the inner courtyard of the castle. It consists of a large living room with open kitchen, a lounge and two bedrooms, one of which is the base of one of the towers. The imposing stone fireplace in the living room suggests that we are in the former kitchens of the castle.
